There has been growing concern in the medical community regarding tranvaginal mesh/sling devices. These devices are implanted through surgery to treat Pelvic Organ Prolapse (POP) and Stress Urinary Incontinence (SUI). The FDA has received more than 1,000 reports of serious health problems from women with transvaginal meshes.
