Athena Dickson joined Blumer Nally & Siro in 2003 after receiving her law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. 7 years later, her name was added to the door and the firm is now known as Siro Smith Dickson. Dickson has extensive personal injury trial experience, evidenced by her high-dollar case wins for her clients. Her services extend far beyond her clients and firm, however.
Dickson admits to having a problem saying no regarding new responsibilities and roles. She has been the president of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, the Women Lawyers of Greater Kansas City, the Young Lawyers Section of KCMBA, and the Jackson County Law Library Board, and that’s only scratching the surface. Recently, Dickson was elected vice president of the Missouri Bar, putting her in line to become president of the bar in 2025.
