Nickalaus Seacord

Attorney

Nick Seacord joined Siro Smith Dickson PC as Of Counsel in 2024 and currently practices in the area of employment litigation on behalf of employees, including sex, age, race, religion, and disability discrimination, whistleblowing, harassment, and retaliation claims, as well as wage and hour class actions.

These days Nick’s focus is working with front-line employees and managers, but he still draws on the experience and knowledge he gained while representing employers – large and small, public and private – to get the best possible result for all his clients. Nick has represented clients at every stage of the litigation and appellate process and has experience representing all levels of employees, managers, and executives.

Nick also has deep experience representing public and private employers from his time as a Partner and Associate at a well-known employment defense firm. His former practice included defense of high stakes employment litigation matters, as well as providing workplace training and conducting independent investigations related to employment matters for a variety of public and private organizations. Nick’s insights from his former employer defense work are especially useful in representing the firm’s plaintiff employee clients.

Nick earned his Juris Doctor degree, with honors, from the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Law in 2010. During law school, Nick had the opportunity to serve as a judicial intern for Magistrate Judge Robert E. Larsen and worked as a law clerk for the Public Interest Litigation Clinic, where he assisted in the representation of clients in appeal and post-conviction cases.
