Women are taking more leadership positions in the Missouri legal community. A recent election within the Missouri Bar Board of Governors gave that body its first-ever all-female leadership team, including Siro Smith Dickson’s own Athena Dickson as the vice president of the Missouri Bar. For the first time in the organization’s history, the president, former president, president-elect, and vice president of the bar are all women.
One of Dickson’s nominators, Scott Bethune, says “Athena is prepared for this opportunity… she is up for the mission.”
